Dear Community Leaders, State Officials, and West Virginia Business Owners,

Dance WV, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing dance education throughout West Virginia. Each October, we host the Dance WV Fall Festival — a dynamic weekend that brings together hundreds of young dancers, educators from around the country, and supportive families for a celebration of movement, learning, and opportunity.

Our 2026 festival will offer more than 90 specialized classes in ballet, modern, jazz, and functional anatomy, with six unique classes running at the same time during each session. Dancers may also choose enrichment courses designed to broaden their artistic and professional skills.

Participants will have the opportunity to audition for scholarships to leading universities and elite summer intensives. In the past three years, West Virginia dancers have earned more than $1,500,000 in scholarships through connections made at this festival. With community support, we previously awarded ten Return to Dance WV Fall Festival Scholarships — and this year we plan to grow that impact.

For 2026, our goal is to award one full scholarship per level — 16 scholarships total — to deserving dancers who wish to return next year. To reach this goal, we are seeking state and community sponsors.
